Calculate your fare for Taxi Hengelo and surrounding areas
With the fare calculator you get an overview of the route between your pickup address and destination in advance. The calculation uses the same route and rate logic as the booking page. You enter pickup, destination, date, time and vehicle, and then see the distance, the expected travel time and the calculated price indication. This is useful when you want to compare or plan before completing your booking.
The tool is intended for journeys from Hengelo, but can also be used for transport from nearby towns such as Borne, Delden, Enschede, Oldenzaal, Almelo, Haaksbergen and places in the border region. You can also have the route calculated in advance for longer distances to airports or cities outside Twente.
How is the fare built up?
The price is calculated from the configured start rate, the number of kilometres, the expected travel time and the chosen vehicle. A passenger car has different rates than a taxi bus. The website also applies the discount rule automatically: journeys under 11 kilometres are charged at the normal price, from 11 kilometres you receive a 15% discount and from 100 kilometres a 35% discount. This way you immediately see the price that belongs to the route under the current settings.
A return journey can be included directly. Please note that intermediate stops, extra waiting time, special pickup locations or additional arrangements may affect the final price. That is why a booking is checked again when it is submitted.
Long distance and airport transfers
The fare calculator is especially practical for longer journeys, for example to Schiphol, Düsseldorf Airport, Weeze Airport, Münster Osnabrück Airport, Eindhoven Airport or Rotterdam The Hague Airport. By entering the complete pickup and destination address in advance you quickly get an indication of distance and travel time. If you travel with several people or a lot of luggage, choose the vehicle that suits the journey best.
For airport transfers we also recommend entering your flight number, number of passengers and amount of luggage on the booking page. This allows the journey to be assessed and planned better.
From price calculation to booking
After calculating you can go straight to booking. Your main journey details are carried over so you do not have to start again. On the booking page you then add passengers, luggage, contact details and payment method. You can also indicate a return journey, an intermediate stop, a child seat or extra assistance there.

Which details give the best price indication?
Preferably use the complete pickup and destination address, including house number and city. Also choose the correct date, time and vehicle type. Together these details determine the route, expected travel time and fare calculation. If you travel with five to eight people or with a lot of luggage, choose a taxi bus so that the price indication matches the vehicle you actually need.
For journeys within Hengelo and Twente you can use the same calculation as for longer distances. From 11 kilometres a 15% discount is applied automatically and from 100 kilometres a 35% discount; journeys under 11 kilometres are charged at the normal price. The percentages are managed centrally and the same calculation is used again when you continue to the booking page. This keeps the price logic the same between the fare calculator and booking.
A price indication is meant to give clarity in advance. If you add special requests, such as multiple intermediate stops, extra waiting time, a different pickup point or a complex group journey, additional checking may be needed. Therefore always mention such information when booking. For a series of business journeys or transport with multiple addresses you can also request a quote directly.
